Senior Living
Retirement residences and long-term care buildings where residents are on site around the clock and disruption is a genuine risk, not an inconvenience.
The Sector
What Makes It Different.
In senior living, the building is never empty. Work has to be planned around residents with limited mobility, staff routines, meal times and infection control expectations.
That changes the sequencing more than the trade. Routes stay clear and even underfoot, dust is contained properly, noise is scheduled around the day, and the site is returned to a safe state every single evening.
How we work here
- Pre-start walkthrough with building staff to agree routes, hours and staging
- Containment installed and removed daily, not left up across a weekend
- Low-odour and low-VOC products specified where residents are adjacent
- Site returned to a safe, clear state at the end of every shift
What Matters Most
The Four Things This Sector Judges You On.
Resident safety first
Level, unobstructed routes, clear signage and no trip hazards left at any point in the day.
Low-disruption scheduling
Noisy work planned around meals, rest periods and programming rather than crew convenience.
Containment and air quality
Proper dust containment and low-odour product selection where residents are close by.
Staff coordination
Daily communication with building staff so nobody is surprised by where the crew is working.

FAQ
Questions From This Sector.
How do you limit disruption for residents?
By planning the schedule around the building's day rather than ours: noisy work in agreed windows, containment installed and removed daily, clear and level routes at all times, and building staff briefed before each phase.
Can work happen in occupied wings?
Yes, in phases, with containment and protected routes. Where a phase genuinely cannot be done safely around residents, we will say so and propose a relocation or a different sequence.
Do you use low-odour products?
Where residents are adjacent to the work, yes — product selection is part of the scope, and we confirm it before the schedule is set.
